Parhib’s first season explores cinema through the concepts of the “window” and the “frame” — seeing cinema both as a view into reality and as a constructed surface that shapes perception. Inspired by Film Theory: An Introduction Through the Senses by Thomas Elsaesser and Malte Hagener, the season reflects on observation, distance, illusion, and the experience of seeing through film.
